In the Stands
My cousin Travis and I are equally interested in the radio broadcasting profession. To gain some experience and to become more familiar with the field, we have started In the Stands. In the Stands will be a sports talk show where we will talk about athletics at the collegiate and professional levels as well. We have started our own Blog, tINTHESTANDSe.blogspot.com and hope that you'll listen in! Our first show will be available October 25th.

So I saw on Joey Mancini's fb profile that he does a sports show for an AM radio station, WINA Radio 1070 6-8 PM M-F. Hm. I wonder how he got that gig - he was a govt/eng major at UVA. So maybe if you ever talk to William you can ask him what Joey's secret is.

Grad school made me sick of research, but I decided to break down and do a little more seconds after I wrote the above comment. WINA 1070 is based out of Charlottesville, so maybe he just did it while he was in school. But either way, maybe there is something there you could look into, even if it was covering local sports or something (prep even) to get even more experience. I am getting excited for the 25th. :)
so do we just listen to it on the blog?
We posted a link on the blog, where we will upload the episodes for now. As soon as we become a little more technically-inclined, we'll try to consolidate everything.
