Ball Girl is a Faux. :(

We watched this today at my office multiple times and thought it was the coolest thing in the entire world. I learned after a simple google search that it is the first in a commercial series entitled "Ball Girl", presented by Gatorade (at the end you will notice some product placement next to the "ball girl's" chair). Learning that kind of spoiled it for me BUT the idea of that really happening is brilliant!

Cox Media Shoot at Lansdowne Resort

So for work we spent Monday and Tuesday of this week filming a 4 minute VOD spot as well as a 30 second spot for Lansdowne Resort in Loudon County. We spent two full days filiming inside and outside on the resort in the 105 degree weather. We worked with "a family" of actors and I really enjoyed all aspects of it. I mostly spent my time carrying and setting up lights and tripods, and monitors and then watching the shots through the monitors in the background. It was great experience for me and I took a couple of shots just with my phone to show some of the work that I was able to help with.

Shooting the pool was intense. Mind you it's about 3PM in the heat of the day and all those kids swimming aren't actors. This picture was taken right after they were told to go away and stop jumping up and down in front of the camera. And that "No, Ashley Tisdale is not one of the actors appearing in the commercial."

This was taken on our second day of shooting, on the 18th hole of one of the three golf courses Lansdowne has. Our team of six drove around on golf carts for a few hours from about 7AM to 10AM as to avoid the heat of the day; however with temperatures above a hundred still, it was sweat fest '08. The golfer in this shot is a pro that is with the club there at the resort.
